The Czech Baseball Association named Tomas Svoboda of Extraleague champion Technika Brno coach of the year in the Czech Republic. He succeeds Pavel Chadim, Petr Aubrecht and Arnost Nesnal as winner of this award, which is handed out annually since 2008.
