According to a report by the Italian blog Grande Slam, Italian Baseball League club Telemarket Rimini is a step away from signing the Italian-American Mark DiFelice. The right-hander could bolster the bullpen of the Pirates. The 35-year-old pitched 77 games in Major League Baseball with an ERA of 3.79, all for the Milwaukee Brewers. In the minors he had an ERA of 3.48 in 280 games between 1998 and 2011. He is currently not under contract with a MLB organization. He played for Italy in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
