Sylvain Hervieux delays retirement, returns to Templiers

Posted on March 18, 2008 by philipp

Outfielder/first baseman Sylvain HERVIEUX delays his retirement plans at least another year and returns to the Templiers Senart for the another season. Originally he had hung up his cleats after the last years Coupe de France finals. But he changed his mind during the winter months.

HERVIEUX batted .270 (OBP .333/SLG .339) in 29 games in 2007. He scored 18 runs and drove in 20. He was mainly used as their starting center fielder.

Senart had signed Gaspard FESSY a few days ago. They start the new season on the road against La Guerche on March 30.
