After the second weekend in the Swiss semi-finals we do know one of the two finalists or not, pending on a decision by the Swiss federation. In the first semi-final series, a fifth game is needed to decide the outcome. After the THERWIL FLYERS pounded the ZURICH CHALLENGERS 15-0 on Saturday, the champion of 2004 came back to even the series 2-2 with a 4-3 win on Sunday.
Two wins by the LAUSANNE INDIANS over the BERN CARDINALS were reported from the second semi-final series, which would lift the INDIANS into the Swiss finals, ending the streak of four straight championships by the CARDINALS. However the Swiss federation is looking into an altercation in the seventh inning of game three on Saturday and the result isn’t yet final. A decision should come until Tuesday evening.
