Defending champion Stockholm and the Karlskoga Bats will play in the Swedish Elitserien championship series. Stockholm swept their best-of-three series against Tranås behind strong pitching performances of Jakob and Joakim Claesson. The Bats had to go through the full three games to beat Sundbyberg Heat. A 10-9 nail-biter in the decisive third match on Sunday afternoon lifted Karlskoga into the finals. The best-of-five series for the national championship in Sweden will start on September 18.
More on the five semi-final games will follow in the next couple of days.
