Swedish Elitserien: Sölvesborg Firehawks sweep Rättvik Butchers to win Title

The Sölvesborg Firehawks are the 2017 Swedish Baseball champions. They defeated the Rättvik Butchers 3-0 in the best-of-five final series in the Swedish Elitserien. In game three on Saturday they prevailed 8-4. Six runs in the seventh decided the outcome of the game and eventually gave Sölvesborg also the championship. They are succeeding the Leksand Lumberjacks. Shane Salley went 5-for-5 in game three. James Watts struck out 11 in a complete game performance.
