The regular season in the Swedish Elitserien ends this weekend. The top six teams in the standings on Saturday evening will move on to the second round, where they will determine the four semi-finalists over five weeks of league play. The advancing teams will take their records with them into the next round. GOTEBORG and GEFLE, which are in seventh and eighth right now, are already eliminated. GOTEBORG theoretically could tie LEKSAND record-wise, but they lost both games against them on June 6. Tonight at 7pm CET the teams in second and third, STOCKHOLM and SUNDBYBERG, will open the schedule this week. Eight games on Saturday will conclude the first round.
