After his minor league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers expired 24-year-old German right-hander Sven Schueller is returning to the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg to play in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. He played in 144 games in the farm system of the Dodgers. During that time he became the first German pitcher to reach Triple-A. Between 2011 and 2013 he already played for Regensburg. His baseball career started with the Solingen Alligators, from which he transferred to the baseball academy in Regensburg in 2011.
