Sweden’s Sundbyberg Heat Planning Second Annual Youth Invitational Tournament

Posted on May 18, 2022 by MrBB

Sweden’s Sundbyberg Heat are looking for interested U12 and U16 teams to participate in the club’s second annual Heat Invitational, which will run from Aug 3 to Aug 6. The event will be hosted at Ored Field, also known as Örvallen, the country’s national baseball stadium.

The organizers are especially interested in hosting international teams, with the hope of providing the young athletes the opportunity to meet children from other countries. The club will provide assistance organizing accommodation, with meals served at the stadium.

Located in the northern Stockholm metropolitan area, the Heat have won multiple Swedish championships, including a run of three straight titles in the mid-1980s. The Heat’s last championship came in 2006.

Interested teams should contact Martin Kero (martin.kero@sundbybergheat.se) for further information and registration.
