Posted on April 24, 2015April 24, 2015 by philipp

By Athletics Attnang-Puchheim

logoFrom 3 to 7 August 2015, the A´s Ballpark in Attnang-Puchheim (Austria) will be the venue of a five-day training camp for 8 to 16 year old kids. The athletic director of this event will be Martin Helmig, one of the most succesful German coaches in recent decades. Among other impressive feats, Helmig managed to win the german championship 5 times with the Regensburg Legionäre and 6 times with the Paderborn Untouchables. For the duration of the camp, he will be supported by 3 american, 8 belgian and 3 austrian coaches. Practices will be held in small groups according to age and position of the respective participants.

A camp fee will be charged, that includes all training sessions, practice games, food (all meals during the camp) and drinks, two action-loaded excursions, accommodation in a gym and 24/7 supervision by coaches and camp personell. The camp is organized in a way that kids not only develope their baseball skills, but also get to know Austria and have as much social interaction and fun as possible. This is done through excursions, social gatherings in the evenings, as well as enjoying all meals as a group.
