The Austrian Baseball League club Stock City Cubs introduced their new head coach. The 25-year-old Jim MALEC American and former all-state pitcher from Florida joined the team on March 1st. According to their team website he has experiences as a high school and college coach.
As usually in Europe he should also help them on the mound and serve as a player-manager. The Cubs won just six games last season, finishing in sixth place.
