Steven Vesque leaves Templiers Senart

Steven Vesque, pitching at MLB Academies TournamentThe left-handed pitcher Steven Vesque is leaving the French Elite League club Templiers Senart to join the Nationale 1 team Indians Boé Bon Encontre according to Bafinfos.com. The 19-year-old southpaw went 2-2 with an ERA of 4.91 in seven appearances last year, striking out 14 batters in 25 2/3 innings, walking 17. He had a batting average of .200 (OBP .321/SLG .214) in 18 games at the plate. Vesque also pitched in the MLB Academies Tournament in Toulouse and in the European Cup in Matino, Italy last spring.
