The prestigious event at Claus Events Centre in Hoofddorp was announced by KNBSB with an article on the federation’s official website only two days before Claus opened the door for this season’s Hoofdklasse stars and KNBSB distinguished guests last night December 12.
Most award winning baseball stars had not shown up: Rob Cordemans, Bayron Cornelisse, Bryan Engelhardt, Dashenko Ricardo and Benjamin Dille needed to be represented by their managers Charles Urbanus and Evert-Jan ‘t Hoen and by presidents Peter van ‘t Klooster (Vaessen Pioniers) and Frits Mulder (Honkbal Week Haarlem). Only best hitter Christian Diaz (Curacao Neptunus) and fastest runner Gilmer Lampe (UVV Utrecht) were applauded by the audience.
