Right in time for the start of the 2014 season with the openers between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks this weekend, Major League Baseball has found a new home on German television. SPORT1 US is going to show more than 60 games live in Germany, Austria and Switzerland this year. The agreement between the Cable TV Station and Major League Baseball is for three years, as announced today.
The first game will be the matchup between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks from the Sydney Cricket Ground in Australia at 9am CET on Saturday. The next games will be on March 31 (Cincinnati Reds vs St. Louis Cardinals) and on April 4 (Pittsburgh Pirates vs St. Louis Cardinals).
