Spanish Roster for European Junior Championship announced

The Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation has released the roster for the European Junior Championship in Prague, Czech Republic. Among the players are also catcher Ivan Alba of CB Barcelona and pitcher Eric Izquierdo of CBS Sant Boi, who participated in the MLB Mini Pitching and Hitting Camp in Haarlem, Netherlands this week. The Spanish team is led by general manager Mauro Mazzotti, manager Miguel Erroz, pitching coach Renny Duarte and assistant coaches Jorge Miqueleiz and Jesus Erroz. A training camp will be held from July 7 to 13 in Barcelona. Spain faces Germany, France, the Netherlands and the Ukraine in Group A during the first round of the European Championship. The tournament starts on July 14.
