Spanish Federation, AGM Sports sign Agreement for Scholarships in USA

Press Release Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation

The Royal Spanish Federation of Baseball and Softball and AGM Sports signed an agreement for scholarships in United States Universities, High Schools and Colleges. The objective of the agreement is the preparation of academic and athletic of hundreds of baseball and softball players and promoting the opportunity to live a personal, academic and athletic experience in high schools and universities in the United States.

webinar_11_feb_2016Madrid – Zaragoza, January 14, 2016.- The Spanish Federation of Baseball and Softball www.rfebs.es and AGM Sports (www.agmsports.com) have signed a collaboration agreement which will benefit many young baseball and softball players. Under this agreement the athletes receive information on educational programs managed by AGM.

The General Director of AGM, Gonzalo Corrales said: “This agreement demonstrates the concern of the Royal Spanish Federation of Baseball and Softball for the academic future of their athletes by providing information and advice in a way unknown university for many families. The benefits of studying in the US and the possibility of obtaining athletic scholarships is very interesting for parents’ information.

Moreover Julio Pernas López, President of the RFEBS considers that the signing of this agreement “provides the possibility that our young players can form both sports at a high academic level and above continue to progress technically what they most like baseball and Softball. Also, cultural enrichment and learning English becomes a great opportunity for the future of athletes and their families. “

The first joint action between the two entities, will be on Thursday February 11 at 21.00h, exclusively in to Baseball and Softball to explain in detail and answer all the questions of families through format “webinar” (plain and simple).
