CS Viladecans won twice in ValenciaResults Week 3, April 11:

CBS Antorcha – CS Viladecans 6-10, 10-13

In 2009 Antorcha lost just two of the twenty games during the regular season en route to another championship. After last Sunday’s doubleheader against Viladecans they are 2-2 in 2010. CS won game one of the twin bill 10-6 after scoring seven runs in the sixth. Maria Teresa Sanjuan paced the offense, going 3-for-3 with a walk, three runs scored and a RBI. Jessica Iborra and L. Minaglia drove in two each. In the second game Viladecans kicked off the contest with a six-run rally and stopped a late comeback by CBS to prevail 13-10. Sara Gomez scored three times. Shannon Burke had three hits, two runs and two RBI. Elisa Aguilar (3 Runs) and Miriam Lopez (3 RBI) led Antorcha.

Dridma Rivas CdD – Eguzki OBB Kirolgi 3-14 (4), 8-12

Kirolgi improved to 5-1 for the season with two wins over Rivas. In game one they celebrated a lopsided 14-3 rout in four innings thanks to a whopping twelve runs in the fourth. Aroia Calvo scored three times. Elena Ayuso went 3-for-3 with two triples and two RBI. In the second match OBB out-slugged Dridma 12-8 after a pair of four-run innings. Ayuso collected three hits and four RBI this time around. Miriam Trigueros had three hits, two runs and three RBI for Rivas.
