The Spanish Division de Honor already has reached the half-way point in the 2010 season. CB Sant Boi, which meets Halcones de Vigo this week, leads the standings with an impressive 15-1 record, fulfilling the high hopes they had after a busy winter. The FC Barcelona is in second place, only one game behind in the loss column. They are taking on local rivals CB Viladecans.
Baseball Navarra and defending champion Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz are tied for third place with an 11-5 record, four games back. The Marlins travel to Gijon to face the winless El Llano (live play by play), while Navarra has to make the trip to Bilbao, where they will meet with San Inazio, which closes out the top five with a 9-7 record.
The teams from sixth to ninth, Viladecans, Vigo, Valencia and Pamplona are separated by only two games. CD and the Astros will play against each other, hoping to move up in the standings.
