The Swedish Elitserien club Sundbyberg Heat has acquired two South African players for the 2018 season. Pieter Kemp and Kieran Moore are joining the team in mid April. Kemp is currently attending high school in the United States. Moore played for the German club Ulm Falcons in 2017. Moore wants to use the season in Sweden to make the cut for the South African U23 national team, which will compete in the U23 Baseball World Cup in Nicaragua in October.
