Solingen, Paderborn meet in Week 2 Matchup in German Baseball-Bundesliga

After an eventful opening weekend in the German Baseball-Bundesliga, the northern division will see one of its highly anticipated matchups on Saturday, when the Solingen Alligators travel to the Untouchables Paderborn. Solingen opened with a pair of solid wins over the Dortmund Wanderers, while Paderborn was still in training camp. The U’s try to use only German players plus Matt Kemp this year, having not signed any import players during the winter.

In the southern division it will be a weekend of playoff contenders squaring off against each other. Already on Friday the Mainz Athletics host the Haar Disciples and the Mannheim Tornados play against the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. On Saturday the Stuttgart Reds take on the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg. Live streams will be available from Mainz (www.sportdeutschland.tv/baseball) and from Bonn (www.capitals.de). Live play by play will be provided from Gamechanger for all games.
