The champion of the northern conference in the German Baseball-Bundesliga, the Solingen Alligators, signed one of the best hitter of last season. Cristian NSIEN will join the champion of 2006 in the upcoming season.

NSIEN is 26 years old and played the last three seasons for the Bonn Capitals. One of the few German switch hitters, he put his game on another level in 2007. He hit .457 (OBP .602, SLG .614) with 24 runs scored and 25 RBI. He led the league in on-base-percentage and walks (20). He began the season as the starting second baseman, before switching to third.

The Alligators have already signed a new coach in Craig SPILKER and confirmed that Enorbel MARQUEZ-RAMIREZ stays in Solingen. They will add two Americans until the season starts in April.
