One day after showing David Daniels the door the Solingen Alligators announced the coaching staff, which will lead the German Baseball-Bundesliga club for the reminder of the season. Chris Beck is taking over as player-coach. He will be supported by Didi Dahmann and David Tuizer, who on paper is going to be the head coach, so Beck can focus on playing shortstop during game days. Additionally JD Sholten, who was signed earlier this week to replace Jerome Burton as starting pitcher in game two, will be responsible for the third-division team of the Alligators.
