The 2007 European Softball Championship Women (B Pool) tournament begins today in Zagreb, Croatia when Switzerland battles Hungary in Group A action. The Swiss along with Spain, France, and host Croatia are the favorites of the tourney being held July 16-21.
Spain will be the favorites after finishing ninth in the A-Pool tournament two years ago. Switzerland, France, and Croatia placed 4-5-6, respectively, at Italy in 2003 and should contend for a berth in the A-Pool division.

Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Spain, Switzerland.
