Dutch catcher Shawn Zarraga, who was released by the Cincinnati Reds organization recently, has found a new home in professional baseball. The Aruba native has signed with the Cleburne Railroaders of the independent American Association. The 28-year-old played from 2007 to last year in affiliated minor league ball for the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers. Last August he got called up to the big leagues by the Dodgers, but didn’t get into a game.
