The Austrian Baseball Federation has a new Secretary General. Former ABF media officer and current Vienna Wanderers player Johannes Godler is taking over for Smajo Pasalic on March 1. Pasalic got a new job in the city government of Vienna. He had been in that post since 2013. The 26-year-old Godler worked as press officer for the ABF from 2011 to 2015 and was part of the local organizing committees for the B-Level European Championships in Vienna in 2013 and 2015.
