Opening Day in Swiss Baseball and Softball was bothered by bad weather. The doubleheader between the Bern Cardinals and the Therwil Flyers, which was supposed to kick off the 2012 season in the Swiss Nationalliga A, was rained out on Sunday afternoon. At least the Softball season got underway, as the Therwil Flyers and Lucerne Eagles split a doubleheader on Saturday.
