Schedule for 2016 Season in French Division I released

Posted on February 16, 2016February 15, 2016 by philipp

The French Baseball and Softball Federation (FFBS) has released the schedule for the 2016 season in the French Division I. Eight teams will compete for the championship, which was won by the Rouen Huskies last year. The Arvernes Clermont return to the Division I as the lone new team in the field. The new season starts on March 27, just one week after France plays in the WBC Qualifier in Panama City. The regular season then ends on July 10. While the top two in the standings directly advance to the semi-finals (August 7-14), the teams ranked third to sixth will play in the quarterfinals (July 31). The French Finals are set for weekends August 21 and 28.
