Posted on February 26, 2011February 23, 2011 by philipp

The Savigny Lions announced on their website the signing of two new import players. They bring in outfielder Eric DeBlanc and starting pitcher Clayton Cooper. DeBlanc is a graduate of the Northwestern State University, where he batted .382/.426/.571 with six homeruns, 57 runs and 39 RBI in 55 games in 2010. Cooper also went to Northwestern State University, but is around Europe probably better known as pitcher for the Brasschaat Braves of the Belgium First Division, where he had a 9-2 record with an ERA of 2.04 in 88+ innings during the 2009 season.
