The French Division I team Savigny Lions is currently banned from their own field by the city government. Apparently neighbors intervened because of strayed balls. 101 residents filed a petition in August and the government restricted access to the field due to security concerns on September 1. The Savigny Lions, which are celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2013, have won the French championship five times. Club officials proposed making changes to the stadium like heighten the netting, but without avail.
