The third ranked Spanish club CB Sant Boi remain one of the most active teams on the off-season market on the Iberian half island. They have signed infielder Rafael RIVAS. The speedy shortstop with impressive defensive skills played for CD Amaya the last two years. He hit .261 (OBP .417, SLG .342) with 32 runs scored and 17 RBI. He led the league with 23 stolen bases (26 attempts).

Sant Boi already has added infielder Milko JARAMILLO in addition to pitchers Yoel HERNANDEZ and Albert VARGAS this winter. They also welcome Flores BOLIVAR, who will manage the team in 2008.
