San Marino extends Duran, Bonilla. Bologna adds Sartori.

T&A San Marino

T&A San Marino has re-signed 2010 Triple Crown winner Carlos Duran and Henry Bonilla for the 2011 season. The 27-year-old outfielder Duran batted .349 (OBP .378/SLG .594) with six homeruns, four triples, 17 doubles, 37 runs and 39 RBI in 42 games for the Titans this year. The 32-year-old Bonilla had an 8-3 record with an ERA of 2.28 in 14 starts. He struck out 52 in 87 innings, while walking 29.

UGF Fortitudo Bologna

Fortitudo Bologna has added utility infielder Massimiliano Sartori to the mix. The 30-year-old is coming on a loan contract from the Serie A club Ponte Di Piave. He batted .397 (OBP .478/SLG .566) with one triple, 21 doubles, 28 runs and 21 RBI in 34 games in the Federal Championship this year. He also already played in the Italian Baseball League with the Rangers Redipuglia. The signing was announced during the traditional Christmas dinner with the press in Bologna. The club also revealed that main sponsor Unipol Gruppo Finanziario has extended its agreement with the team.
