Since end of February (approx.) the whole Europe fighting against Coronavirus pandemic. All sports activities have been terminated, no sport events, no possibility to work out in a club. Because nobody was able to predict how long it will take, Czech Baseball Association came with initiative #SafeAtHome.

As the first step, created web portal at https://www.baseball.cz/safeathome where home training videos started to load or share. Immediately after portal creation, Czech Baseball Association started to produce own videos for different age groups. Also another entities has been really active and started produce their own videos and those videos shared with Czech Baseball Association.

The result of #SafeAtHome initiative is 71 videos for home training for different age categories and different reasons. During March and April period more than 2 800 views on has been detected on #SafeAtHome page.

Because situation in Czech Republic became stabilized with Coronavirus pandemic and baseball season in Czech Republic will start soon (Extraleague will open their gates May 25th already) one stage of the #SafeAtHome is at the end. But we do not want to loss hard work of all volunteers involved in project, so we will keep this portal open. Those baseball players, who wants to continually increase their physical and baseball skills, they will find there a lot of materials for the future.

We must to say big thank to following Czech Baseball Association parties: media team, coaches commission and marketing commission for preparation and execution of whole concept. We must to say big thank you also following volunteers for providing their videos to #SafeAtHome project: Arny Nesňal (Draci & AAA Baseball), David Winkler (Czech Baseball Academy), Hroši Brno players and coaches (John Hussey , Martin Dvořák, Martin Kollár, Ondřej Kalandra, Martina Hánová, Michal Ondráček, Daniel Ondroušek), Jake Rabinowitzi and coaches and players from Tempo Praha Sport Center (Pavel Kunst, David Nevěřil, Matyáš Landa, Benjamin O’Rourke, Martin Zelenka), Iva Whitten (Czech Baseball Programu PRO physiotherapist), Filip Procházka (Czech Nation U15 head coach), and Richard Adamík (Draci Brno). Without those people, this project never happen !
