Pitcher Ruderly Manuel, who came from the Hoofdklasse to join the Godo Knights in the Italian Baseball League this winter, is returning to Curacao and most likely will not return. His brother died and he understandably wants to be with his family. The Knights thanked him in a statement on the team website for his professionalism during his short stint. They do not intend to replace his spot on the pitching staff. They will wear black armbands in honor of Ruderly’s brother during their series with Unipol Bologna next weekend.
