The Rouen Huskies have announced plans to renovate parts of its stadium. Together with the city of Rouen they will build a new backstop and new stands with room for 300 spectators. Also they are planning to install lights, which unfortunately won’t be sufficient for games, but good enough to practice in the evening. Construction is scheduled to begin in August and should be finished by the end of October. It is another step to improve the stadium. A couple years ago artificial turf was installed in the infield. Further plans are to erect covered bullpens/batting cages and a clubhouse. For renderings of the new backstop and stands visit www.rouenbaseball76.com
