The Rouen Huskies added another Venezuelan player to its roster in the French Division I. 24-year-old switch-hitting shortstop Miguel Mendez will join the team for 2018. Between 2011 and 2014 he spent some time in the Cincinnati Reds organization. In Venezuela he suited up for Tigres de Aragua and Tiburones de Guaria.
