Roster Changes at ASD Rimini in IBL

Posted on November 13, 2015November 13, 2015 by philipp

According to Baseball.it reigning Italian Baseball League champion ASD Rimini is revamping parts of its roster for the 2016 season. It was already known that they have signed shortstop Freddy Noguera and confirmed that Alexis Candelario returns for another season. Additionally Pierangelo Cit has left for T&A San Marino.

However more changes are apparently planned. Leonardo Zileri is probably not returning to Parma as rumored but retiring after winning the scudetto. Also Paul Macaluso, Edgar Mundarain and Victor Moreno won’t return. Meanwhile it is expected that Alex Romero and Leslie Nacar are coming back, while the return of shortstop Ray Olmedo is still not secure.

On the arrival front it’s more or less clear that Yomel Rivera joins Noguera on its path from Parma to Rimini. Additionally Antonio Giovannini, Ennio Retrosi and Mirco Caradonna could be on their way to the Pirates.
