Roger Bernadina to play for Lamigo Monkeys

Posted on April 19, 2019April 19, 2019 by philipp

Instead of suiting up for the Ishikawa Million Stars in an independent baseball league in Japan, 34-year-old former Major League outfielder Roger Bernadina will instead play for the Lamigo Monkeys in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). He will become the sixth Dutch player to play in Taiwan after Rob Cordemans, Diegomar Markwell, Ivanon Coffie, Shairon Martis and Jair Jurrjens. Italy’s Alex Liddi also is going to play in the CPBL this year.
