Italian Baseball League club Rimini has added former Major League pitcher Enrique Gonzalez prior to the second phase of the regular season. The 31-year-old Venezuelan right-hander spent six years in the big leagues, playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks, San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox and Detroit Tigers from 2006 to 2011. During that time he had an ERA of 5.81 in 55 games. He struck out 84 batters and walked 63 in 150 1/3 innings. He played in Japan in 2012 and in Mexico last year. Now the journey man adds Europe to his resume.
