Richard Klijn leaves Buchbinder Legionaere to play for Haar Disciples

The Haar Disciples announced on Monday the signing of British infielder Richard Klijn. He is coming from the Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg, where he played the past years and temporarily retired from the Bundesliga team midway through last season. The 25-year-old member of the British national team won four German championships with Regensburg and also played in the WBC Qualifier in 2012. The Disciples plan to use Klijn at second base until Bruno Aurnhammer returns from college. However they also consider using him in the outfield and as pitcher.
