Riccardo Fraccari was confirmed as president of the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation (FIBS) on Sunday at the 33rd Assembly. He received 90.86 percent of the votes in the elections. His only challenger, Antonio Micheli, got 8.91 percent. 399 of 705 eligible voters were at the Convention Center “Europeo” in Bellaria, Rimini. 356 of them exercised their right to vote. The former umpire Fraccari was reelected for four more years.
