The THERWIL FLYERS solidified first place in the Swiss Nationalliga A standings with two wins over the REUSSBUEHL EAGLES. Stefan Koller pitched a no-hitter in game one to lead the FLYERS to an 8-0 shutout. In the second match THERWIL won due to forfeit after two ejections left the EAGLES under-manned. In the second matchup, the BERN CARDINALS scored 27 runs against the ZURICH CHALLENGER to improve to 21-6 for the season.
