After losing the first four games of the season, the Bern Cardinals have reached the win column. They beat the Zurich Challengers at the new Heerenschuerli 9-8 and 17-9. The Zurich Barracudas also picked up their first two wins of the season, prevailing 18-2 and 5-3 in Lausanne. The Therwil Flyers defended their perfect record in the Swiss Nationalliga A by scoring 17 runs in each end of a doubleheader against the Sissach Frogs. The Embrach Mustangs and the Lucerne Eagles settled for a split, leaving only the Indians winless in Swiss Baseball.
