After last week’s opener between Therwil and Bern, the other six teams of the Swiss Nationalliga A also started into the new season this weekend. The first full game day of the year was highlighted by the ballpark opener in Zurich, where the Challengers defeated the Barracudas twice. The Flyers celebrated two shutouts against the Lausanne Indians, while the Cardinals suffered two losses against the Embrach Mustangs. The Sissach Frogs picked up two wins over the Lucerne Eagles.
