In the Swiss Nationalliga A the Bern Cardinals won the duel of two 4-0 teams against the Embrach Mustangs. The defending champion prevailed 5-2 and 5-1 after a pair of solid pitching performances. Also on Saturday the Zurich Challengers won twice against the Wil Devils. On Sunday the Lucerne Eagles and the Zurich Lions split their doubleheader. The Zurich Barracudas won against the Therwil Flyers, while one of the two games was washed out.
