In the Swiss Nationalliga A the Therwil Flyers celebrated two lopsided wins over the Zurich Challengers on the road. In game one on Saturday they scored 17 runs in the fifth on route to a 20-0 blowout. Lucas Hagberg and Stefan Koller combined for six RBI and Koller pitched five scoreless two-hit innings for the win. In the second match Therwil scored in each frame between the third and the seventh in an 11-1 win. Hagberg doubled three times as part of a four-hit game. In the other two matchups this weekend in Switzerland the Zurich Barracudas dominated the Wil Devils and the Lucerne Eagles swept the Bern Cardinals.
