After a few weeks into the Swedish Elitserien season 2009 it looks like, as we will see an interesting year in Scandinavian baseball. After the recent game day this weekend the first four teams in the standings are separated by a single game. TRANAS remained in first, despite losing its first game of the season against STOCKHOLM. SUNDBYBERG and KARLSKOGA also had to settle for a split. LEKSAND and RÄTTVIK swept their doubleheader against GOTEBORG and GEFLE.
