The Leksand Lumberjacks and the Sölvesborg Firehawks split a doubleheader on Saturday. In game one Sölvesborg celebrated a 3-0 shutout. Parker Talbert and Karl Knutsson kept Leksand to four hits and two walks in nine scoreless innings. Ty Walker took the loss in the pitcher’s duel despite nine strikeouts in six frames. In game two the Lumberjacks scored eight runs between the third and the fifth in a 10-5 win. Emil Sahlin Söderlund scored three times. Johan Klarberg had two runs and two RBI. Kofi Frimpong went 4-for-5 for Sölvesborg.
