In Spain the 2009 season in the Division de Honor will start on March 15. Last weekend the first preseason games were played. In the Catalonia championship CB SANT BOI and CB VILADECANS each won one match. Next weekend VILADECANS hosts the FC BARCELONA for round two. In Navarre the Apertura Tournament began with a victory of PAMPLONA B against PAMPLONA A. The game between BASEBALL NAVARRA and SAN INAZIO BILBAO was rained out.
