Posted on April 20, 2011April 20, 2011 by philipp

The first half of the regular season in the Spanish Division de Honor Softball is already over. On Sunday PS Gavanenc defeated Dridma Rivas twice. In game one M. Fike allowed just four hits and two walks in six scoreless innings in a 7-0 shutout. In game two a RBI double by S. Freitas broke a 4-4 tie.

The other two matchups this weekend ended with splits. CBS Antorcha lost the first match to Eguzki OBB before winning the second. Eguzki highlighted game one with a seven-run rally in the third. Additionally Krafft San Sebastian shared wins with CS Viladecans. After San Sebastian won a nail biter in game one on a passed ball in the seventh, Viladecans scored eight runs in the seventh inning of a lopsided game two. They had four players with three hits apiece.
