The Spanish Division de Honor Softball started into the second half of the season last Sunday and the two co-leaders in the standings settled for a split. In game one Beatriz Parejo issued just two hits and three walks to lead CS Viladecans to a 7-0 shutout. In the second game Kirolgi’s Ane Barandiaran matched that feat, allowing just three hits and a base on balls in an 8-0 win. Defending champion CBS Antorcha couldn’t profit from the split, as they lost game two against San Sebastian, remaining at the .500 mark in third place.
